Silvia Craucamp, Sr Jo Sica and Sr Martie Pryde
Hollister invited CANSA’ s Stoma Care Nurses and Care Givers to attend a Higher Education Stoma Workshop presented by Sr Jo Sica of the UK.
Sr Jo Sica trained in London at St Georges Hospital and she also worked in Calcutta, India on a VSO/WHO Programme. She is highly qualified and her training includes Stoma Care (MSc level) in London and Advanced Stoma Care at St Marks. Sr Sica served on the WCET UK committee and she is a highly regarded presenter and teacher on Stoma Care; as well as currently teaching and examining on the MSc Stoma Care course. Sr Sica also writes for the WCET Journal – UK Column.
Sr Martie Pryde and Silvia Craucamp attended the training course and were trained on new techniques, as well as new stoma products offered by Hollister.
