Join our celebrations on the 12th June 2014
CANSA along with Nielsen staff, as part of Nielsen’s Global Impact Day, will visit each CANSA Care Home and some of our Care Centres, to meet with our cancer survivors on the 12th of June 2014.
Everyone taking part will write an inspirational message on a piece of cloth in support of a cancer survivor. The pieces of cloth will then be woven together and made into table cloths, curtains, quilts, bed spreads, table mats, etc for the Care Home or Care Centres concerned.

We will have a Cancer Survivor & motivational talk and an International Hero of Hope as our MC. We have 6 to 8 Beauty pageant contestants ( taking part in the Mrs India South Africa next year ) attending as guests. The Nielsen staff will be doing a vegetable patch. Singing and music may also be enjoyed, while you make your mark!

Jana du Plessis will be our guest speaker. She is a CANSA RFL Global Hero of Hope 2011 / 12 and Finesse magazine’s ‘Inspirational Woman’ of 2013. She is also an ambassador for ‘Vroue wat Glo’.
