Over 6 000 people took part in the 3rd Warrior Race of the series which took place on 11th and 12th May 2013. All races have solo and team entries and winners progress to the finals which will be held in Gauteng at the end of November. CANSA Active had 100 runners participating and provided free sun cream to all runners and spectators, encouraging an active, SunSmart lifestyle. CANSA Active is in partnership for the Northwest, Cape Town and KZN leg of the Warrior Race Series and will play a huge role in the celebrity charity race in October.
All entrants can donate online towards CANSA Active when entering the races. The next race is in the NW Province at Hartbeespoort dam on 22nd and 23rd June 2013 and promises to be the biggest one ever. CANSA Active has a further 100 entries for this race and is encouraging participants to wear pink & orange and to raise funds through challenges before the race weekend.
